Page.tl is a temp until I find a paying host I like. BustedStump was going to be in “dedication” to my brother. Now it's in memory of him. The name came to me when he had his first leg amputated & he kept falling & busting his stump open. Thus the name “BustedStump”. He didn't have net access so he never got to see my site.
I'm sad writing this through teary eyes but can see it's good therapy today. Why 'teary' & not crying? Because he has suffered for 8+ years & he's at peace now. He was diabetic, had a Pancreas & Kidney transplant, then came the anti-rejection drugs & eventually losing both legs. He suffered great pain most of the time. Then had a heart attack & recently has been suffering many many mini strokes. Misery, pain & confined to a wheelchair. See, he's not suffering anymore & family & all his close friends agree. He not suffering anymore & that is a good thing. He got saved about two years ago. My immediate family all try to follow Christ. I'm just a long hair Christian. Thank You for reading this. I highly recommend getting theFirefox browser for downloading music. There are No pop-ups & it is much safer with the NoScript extension. I DO NOT recommend using Internet Explorer (hereafter known as IE) for for lack of safety & popups. "Javascript Disabled = safety & No pop-ups & by default Javascript is enabled in IE. In fact if you use IE you may get so pissed off you'll think I'm pulling your leg that this even works. I am Not. It Works, it's Simple & it's Free. Read on... ♫

Go to mp3000.net / Click on a song. Like it? Hit back. Right click "save target as", OR drag the address to your faviourite download manager window & BAM! That's it! ♫ ♪ ♫

Go to mp3000.net This is the new page that is updated 'usually' every hour (you'll have to refresh the page yourself) Click on Any song for now until you get the steps down. When you click on it, you'll be brought to “another” site (another page that is Not mp3000. Mp3000 does not store any songs on their server. That is why you are brought to another page. (Look at the address bar at the top of your browser) Note: If you get a '404 Error message simply hit the back button. It's normal for this site.
If you have QuickTime installed the song will play in your browser. (Yes QuickTime sucks but it's free & allows you to listen to the song before you download it) Or just pick 'play' or 'open' depending on what you want to do. (I listen to the song in my browser to see if I like it or not then hit the back button then I download it. I can not stress enough to switch toFirefox ( hereafter known as Fx) because you need to disable Javascript & it's easy in Fx . When you get these steps down, go back to the "The Basics:" as a quick reminder. You'll have it down in no time.

This is only an example) These are folders of different types of music & artist names. Click on your faviourite & it will open that folder. In these folders are the mp3's. Click on one & if you have QuickTime installed then you will here the song playing in your browser.

You can do that with most (not all) pages you find on mp3000.net
How's that for an incentive?! Most of all my music started from mp3000. There's other sites that that but it takes some more work on your part to find your genre of music. Yes, I will give you more sites like mp3000 later on when I refine this page more. And in case your wondering about these pages of mp3's you just went to they are unsecured servers (usually Apache) just like what your ISP is using to enable you read this site your on only much smaller servers IE; from someones business, school or home Etc.
Why Use & What is a Download Manager? (accelerator) On any browser whether Internet Explorer or Firefox Etc. you already have a download manger. It's slow though. A 3rd party download manager (hereafter known as DLM) is super fast most of the time. IE; A browser DLM is like drinking a thick milkshake through a Dairy Queen straw (their small) A 3rd party DLM is like drinking that same milkshake through 4-6 McDonald's straws at the same time. (their big & fat) So you get the same thing only faster. Get it?
Besides being fast, it's also easier for downloading music. Just dragging the addy of the song to the 3rd party DLM small window. Here's how.
For the sake of easiness we'll use what I use. (there are many to choose from) Download from only these 2 sites as there are fakes out there Free Download Manager from FileHippo orFree Download Manager direct from their site. Here a list for more if you choose.
These are screen shots to ease the configuration of Free Download Manager as you may not be familiar with this program.
Note: these are only “my” settings which I prefer. You may configure yours somewhat different. It's only a zip file & is safe. Screen shots of Free Download Manager No password needed. This will have to do until I find a imaging host that will display large pictures on this site.I am thinking of make a Vid as this is a simple process but is lengthy in text to try to explain.
*How to disable JavaScript in Firefox
Get the NoScript Extension (Add-on)
Or:
• Go to Tools/Options/Content
• Uncheck Enable JavaScript. While your there Did-able "Java" too.
• Press OK to save the settings.
Now go back tomp3000.net & see how the ads disappeared & no more popups! Woot woot!
*How to dis-able JavaScript in Internet Explorer ( I'm still using IE 6 so I can't help you on version 7 or 8 although I should check out Internet Explorer 8.0 Beta again. (It's still in early testing) IE 7 absolutely sucks!
In IE 6:
• Go to Tools/Internet Options/Security.
• Select the Internet zone icon.
• Click Custom tab
• Navigate to Scripting/Active scripting. (almost to the bottom of the page)
• Select Disable.
• Press OK to save the settings. You'll get a warning popup, just click OK.
*How to install QuickTime Note: This is Free. After install just click "No thanks" when ask if you want to purchase to go pro. First Click on the above link. Install to the folder of choice (usually the default is in programs) When it says 'QuickTime installer Completed' you will be asked if you want to configure the File & Meme types. Click yes for both. This is to insure QuickTime does not play anything else like your movies on your PC but only the songs you want to listen to & this is very simple. All you have to do is Uncheck everything but the two (2) that are greyed out & then click OK, then Finish. That's it!
